2022 One HEALtH Challenge Application Instructions

Picture
Applications are now closed
To apply to compete in the One HEALtH Challenge, you must be:
  • A Carleton undergraduate student in good academic standing
  • In 2nd year or above
  • Available to attend the virtual launch, consultation session, and final presentation dates: January 29th,  Feb 5th, and March 19th, 2022 (all Saturdays).
  • Able to commit a minimum of 3 hours per week to the Challenge over the course of the 6-week duration
Important info: Students will have the option of creating their own teams of 4-5 members. As the One HEALtH Challenge is intended to be interdisciplinary, teams must ensure that at least 2 different faculties are represented among their members; for example, students from the faculty of Science must have members from at least one other faculty (Arts & Social Sciences, Public Affairs, Engineering & Design, or Sprott) on their team. Each team member must complete the Application Form. Please indicate in your application whether you are willing to be reassigned to a different team should the need arise in order to maintain a good interdisciplinary balance.

Individuals applicants are also welcome, and will be assigned to teams by the Challenge organizers. This is a great way to meet new people and form connections with students from all across Carleton!

Applications will be accepted until January 21st, 2022. All students will be notified of whether they’ve been accepted by January 25th, 2022.
