2022 One Health Challenge Winners
Six weeks of hard work came to a head on Mar. 19 when students presented their pitches on interventions that can promote the use of green spaces for public health benefits. While all teams brought innovative ideas to the table, first place went to the "Green Days" Team. Runner ups include the "Community Flyers" Team and the "Flowers for Hope" Team.
Congratulations to Neuroscience Professor Dr. Kim Matheson for the renewal of her joint Culture and Gender Mental Health Research Chair by Carleton University and The Royal’s Institute of Mental Health Research (IMHR).
In her last five years, she spearheaded the Indigenous Youth Futures Partnership, and she will continue her work on health inequities, especially in underserved communities.
